View of the floodplain north of the Vardeman/Daws/Holmes/Stephenson cemetery where we think the Old Wilderness Road crosses Cedar Creek just to the left of the barn. There use to be an old log house here, that was thought to be a slave house. The land was owned by Stephensons and Vardemans. |
