Mrs. John P. Vardeman celebrated her 94th birthday with 18 relatives
and friends on Sunday, February 27th. Daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edman
Vardeman of Independance, prepared the delicious turkey.
Cakes were baked by Sister-in-law, Miss Elizabeth Vardeman, and Mrs.
Emma Vardeman. Grandson, John William "Bill" Vardeman, called from
Fort Devens, Mass.,where he is stationed in the US Army. Her Salt and
Pepper shaker collection now numbers 425 sets.

Sunday, June 5, 1966. Funeral services were held on Tuesday. |
