Note: Jeff Webb’s mother, Clarissa (Carlisle) Webb, was an aunt of my grandmother, Odie Carlisle and my great-aunt. Consequently Jeff Webb and Odie
(Carlisle) Vardaman were first cousins. Odie Carlisle married my grandfather, Marshall E. Vardaman, brother of Jeff’s wife, Maggie Mae Vardaman. Jeff Webb was both my great-uncle by marriage and my first cousin, twice removed.
